Ramey's Elhew Fibbin On Me, aka Kate, comes from a lineage that needs no introduction. A natural bird finder, Kate is also eager to please, gregarious in the kennel, and serious about hunting.
Alabama Shooting Dog Champion, Elhew Fibber McGee was Bob Wehle's 1998 "brag dog". He has proven to be a prepotent sire, and currently ranks second among Elhew sires of field trial winners. Fibber's pups are strong bird dogs who tend to hunt ambitiously.
The dam's sire is Flashpan, son of Elhew Twister by CH Elhew Explorer. Flashpan's dam is Sunflower Ally, a blue hen herself and full sister to Sinbad. The mother line is HOF 16x CH Elhew Swami. Swami, known as "Bama", ended her career with 16 open shooting dog Championships with 13 runner up championships, a total of 40 wins and won National Shooting Dog of the year 3 times. She was as tough of a competitor as you will find in any sport. She passes this tenacity along in her progeny.
Kate was bred to 2x Nat CH Lester's Sunny Hill Joe. She is the mother of Ramey's Elhew Sunny McGee.
OUR MISSION
We are committed to breeding top English Pointers with correct conformation, great desire to hunt, tenacity, and willingness. We believe in the Silent Command System employed by the Smith Training Method, masterfully employed by Craig Steinbach at Fly -N- Gun Kennels. Our dogs are exposed to birds and hunting at a very young age, making the training process more seamless and less stressful overall. This ensures a wonderful hunting experience for both dog and owner.
