We are committed to breeding top English Pointers with correct conformation, great desire to hunt, tenacity, and willingness. The breeding lines of our dogs could not be finer, bringing in Champions and National Champions going back for generations.

Females from his get are coveted and have proven to be "blue hens". He made his dam, Hall of Fame Ch. Elhew Swami, very proud.

Probably one of the most successful outcrosses in the Elhew line, this son of Snakefoot out of a Guard Rail daughter proved to be quite a nick. His progeny have benefitted greatly from that explosion of genetics. We see Distinction as an important sire in the pedigrees of our dogs.

Alabama Shooting Dog Champion Elhew Fibber McGee was Bob Wehle's 1998 "brag dog". He has proven to be a prepotent sire, and currently ranks second among Elhew sires of field trial winners. Fibber's pups are strong bird dogs who tend to hunt ambitiously.

Elhew Jefferson, a son of Ch. Elhew Snakefoot, out of Elhew Jube, was regarded as having near perfect conformation, and proved his prepotency by siring Hall of Fame, 16x Champion Elhew Swami, and Ch. Elhew Blue Chip, as well as many excellent companion bird dogs. We are fortunate to have a lot of this blood in our kennel and our breeding program.

Ch. Elhew Snakefoot, the number three ranked Elhew sire of field trial winners, was elected to the Field Trial Hall of Fame in 2005. He produced eleven field trial champions and many classy personal gun dogs. To quote Bob Wehle, "this is the finest dog I've ever raised. I have no doubt that he'll win a major field trial championship."
